| This was painted around 1989 and it's
the first painting I ever sold. My dad
took it
to work to show some coworkers. I remember
him
calling to ask if I wanted to sell it and for how
much.
It was difficult to let it go but I was 17 years
old
and the $300 offer really sounded great.
The same
person also later purchased 'The Eagle-US Coast
Guard'.
I had my first collector!
I saw a photo in the news paper from a civil war reenactment
and thought I'd use it for a cool painting. It's a
scan of my only photo so not the best quality. |
